One Job Finished in Photoshop

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll just say that this picture was my first major piece of work in Photoshop. While I’ve dabbled around in Photoshop in the past, this is by far the most extensive project I’ve completed. Heck, I even learned a bit of new stuff in the process, making this picture a double-win!

Hi Tim

I really like the one of the cards flying in the air. How did you do this? Did you flip the cards in the air and snap a shot really fast? (Knowing you, probably something a bit more sophisticated then that!)

Yeah, it actually was a little trickier. I held each of the cards up in front of the camera so I could get the position I wanted, then took each shot I wanted into Photoshop, cut the card out, then inserted it into the final image. If part of my finger overlapped the card, I painted it over with a clone of another section of the card. It wasn't too hard, just long because there were a lot of cards!
