Today, July 17th, marks exactly 53 years of operation for Disneyland Park here in California. It's amazing how that incredible place has been transformed over the years, from adding new rides to updating old facades, and even adding a whole new theme park! Yet behind all the changes is the same park, still holding many of the same attractions that so many individuals have enjoyed and treasured for many, many years. Disneyland certainly has had an impact on our culture, particularly here in Southern California. And I must say it is a definite honor to be a part of it as a cast member.For those interested, a small article was published today highlighting aerial views of Disneyland from a 1956 promotional film.

Lets see 53 years ago I was about 11 months old. I think Dad (grandpa) had already visited Disneyland at the extreme cost of $1 for admission. He came back to tell mom it was one of the greatest places on earth. His opinion never changed. It must run in the family.
