Somehow my radar missed this until today. On February 28th, a new trailer was released for Marvel's upcoming Iron Man film. I'm really, really excited about this one.
I really hope this film is as good as the trailers are making it look. Marvel hasn't always produced the greatest superhero movies.

I'm looking forward to this one, May 2 will be here before you know it. Isn't this the first film that Marvel is really doing completely on their own? Why do you say that they haven't always made the best films in the past?
Yes, Marvel is independently producing this film, and Paramount is distributing it.
Not all of the recent films based on Marvel's superheroes have done all that well. Neither of the Fantastic Four movies have been terribly popular, nor has "The Hulk". "Ghost Rider" didn't go over with audiences terribly well. There have even been some movies that people barely remember ("Elektra", anyone?). Fortunately the Spider-Man films have been very good, and the X-Men films were decent. I have full faith in "Iron Man" to come through, though.

If Iron Man doesn't work I would say Marvel is getting rusty.
