This week I'm taking a break from Christmas cartoons to show you all a short film I recently completed for a class project. In this film, two bored college students engage in a lightsaber duel and get a little carried away.
This film is rated PG by ME for sequences of fighting.

I like at the end how the one guy tries to stab the other guy but he lives because it is a fake light saber.

I'm considering shooting an alternate ending where the Jedi stabs the Sith, then shuts off the lightsaber, goes back to the dorm, and resumes his video game. Not sure if I'll actually do that or not, though. This week is finals week at school, so I won't have much time during one of the busiest times of the semester.

Rotoscoping is the next step, actually. A friend from school has done a lot of lightsaber effects in video before, so he's going to rotoscope some blades in over winter break.
